Whiteboard2Boardroom (W2B) is a program of the UMKC Innovation Center designed to move early-stage innovative technologies from partner institutions to the marketplace. We specialize in connecting entrepreneurs, corporations, and investors to a portfolio of technologies from 23 regional universities, hospitals, and corporations that are available for licensing to ultimately commercialize.
Technologies are available in a wide range of industries, including:
- Agricultural Sciences
- Animal Health & Veterinary Medicine
- Chemistry & Advanced Materials
- Engineering & Manufacturing
- Environmental Technologies
- Human Health
- Software & Computer Programming
We are constantly seeking individuals with the skills to move our portfolio of technologies to the next stage. Individuals with CEO-level talent are needed to partner with us in taking these technologies to the marketplace. We are also seeking advisors, strategic partners, and investors who can help fledgling companies. Advising may include a broad range of business activities, including product development, marketing, intellectual property law, finance, human resources, and founders issues.
