Technology #1: The University of Missouri-Columbia will present broad-spectrum antiviral therapeutics to treat a broad spectrum of clinically relevant viral infections. Data in mice demonstrate significant rescue from lethal doses of Influenza A. In vitro data extend application to other viruses.
9:45 a.m. -10 a.m. Second Presentation
Technology #2: The University of Missouri-Columbia will present a targeted and programmable delivery of peptide inhibitors to treat cancer. Data in cells demonstrate efficacy in hematological (lymphoma/leukemia), skin, breast, prostate, and lung cancers. Alternate potential applications include autoimmunity and viral infection.
