The two primary objectives of the invention are to prevent hypothermia during surgery while also stabilizing the patient's position on the operating table without the need of AC power. Combining functions of warming and positioning into a single wireless device improves convenience and effectiveness for surgical and other operations. This invention also resolves the deficiencies associated with current convection- and conduction-based warming devices, such as the need for external power, increased risk of infection, wire clutter, and noise. The invention can be applied to veterinary surgery, human surgery, emergency patient transportation, and military medical evacuation, with adaptations for wilderness rescue and outdoor recreation.
